STAND UP PADDLE BOARD

With two islets and a sheltered cove, the conditions are perfect for trying out new activities at sea. What about trying SUP? It is a new but strongly growing activity in Norway. It is a paddle board on which the paddler stands upright and moves forward with a paddle oar. You can also sit or lie down, so the activity is suitable for everyone - adults, children and the elderly.

SUP is good exercise for the whole body and a great way to relax and get some fresh air. The positive energy and the wonderful beauty of the Ålfjord are medicine for your soul. This is the Ålfjord waiting for your visit.

Kayaking is a great opportunity to experience what the Ålfjord has to offer. It is a great opportunity to be in motion where you can take a leisurely walk. We recommend paddling to Svebakken, or to the innermost Ålfjord, where you can buy an ice cream or a waffle from the kiosk.

FISKE

As a guest with us, you live close to the Ålfjorden, a fjord known for its good fishing opportunities. Here you can catch great fish such as flounder, cod, pollock and mackerel. You can fish from the jetty or from our rowing boat.


Lake Vigdarvatnet is a great lake where you can take the family on a fishing trip in a canoe. Here there are opportunities to catch large trout and char. There are also areas where children can go diving on hot summer days. The fish in this lake are of a good size.

As a guest with us, you live close to the Ålfjorden, a fjord known for its good fishing opportunities. Here you can catch great fish such as flounder, cod, pollock and mackerel. You can fish from the jetty or from our rowing boat.

The joy of growing vegetables and other useful crops is the pleasure of being able to be self-sufficient with fresh lettuce and sun-ripened tomatoes from the camp's own kitchen garden. Interest in Himadyrka vegetables is increasing and we are pleased that we can offer fresh vegetables to our guests also on holiday.

Would you like to take a walk in nature? We have a rich natural landscape with many hiking opportunities. In Sveio you will find a number of accessible hiking trails. Along the coast, the landscape is low and open, and from the top of the mountain there is a wide view in all directions.


Here you will find suggested trips, whether you want to go for a stroll in the local area, a more demanding peak trip, or something in between. Hopsfjellet, Emberlandsnipen, Trollavassnipa, Børshovda and Dreng are top hikes in the municipality that I recommend. We also recommend a trip to Ryvarden lighthouse. On Sundays they have a hall of waffles. Hodnafjellet lies in our neighboring municipality of Tysvær.


There are also several hiking opportunities on foot from our camp.

Soma Move is mobility training where you use the whole body, barefoot on a mat. One works with breathing, strength, coordination and balance. There is a focus on flow and power in the exercises. A unique way to move the body - holistic, creative, soft and powerful.

Soma Move is mobility training where you use the whole body, barefoot on a mat. One works with breathing, strength, coordination and balance. There is a focus on flow and power in the exercises.

The training is suitable for everyone. The entire body becomes warm and soft after Soma Move training. It is especially great to receive feedback from participants with arthritis who say that this training does them a lot of good.


It is therefore with great pleasure that Nina Haara Matre can welcome our guests to training this summer.

Can I be tempted by strength training with a sea view?

I am passionate about "Røsle - for all", also on holiday. We have a strong focus on arranging training so that everyone will have the opportunity to experience mastery and lifelong enjoyment of training.


At our camp, we therefore offer a group strength session of 45 minutes, where you can train the whole body. Rørsle instructor Nina focuses on showing you how the exercises should be done, and arrange so that you will experience mastery and the joy of training. She ensures that you experience strength, balance and the joy of movement.


What's better than a good sweat session followed by a swim in the sea.
